Don’t you just love those couples who can make each other laugh? I’m not talking about giggling, I’m talking about the real blushing-crying-man-you-really-know-me laugh that happens down the aisle or across a crowded room. Lisa and Evan are that couple, and we loved them all the more for it!
We were honored to film their wedding at the lovely Murrieta’s Well in Livermore, California. It was a day filled with wine, gowns, and…vintage muscle cars. Yep, check out Lisa and Evan’s first born :

Nothing can sum up the definition of romance, glam and adventure like the wedding of John and Jasmine. These two lovely people were married on a yacht provided by Empress Events in Sausalito, CA. When you’ve got a luxurious yacht and phenomenal views one would ask what else could you need? And the answer is loving family to celebrate along side them. To every-one’s surprise Jasmine’s dad almost missed their wedding due to an illness, but luckily was able to walk his beautiful daughter down the aisle just like every Dad should have the honor to.
This wedding did not lack in the areas of joy, love and great details so we will spare you from having to wait any longer and get to see a glimpse of what we were blessed to be a part of. Click play, and enjoy!

San Francisco is undeniably one of the nation’s most exciting cities, and on July 30, 2011 it got quite a bit more thrilling with the wedding of Dawn & Norman Rigney. With a private trolley ride through downtown, a handful of fake mustaches, and a taco truck for the post-reception, these two knew how to make the most of this occasion. Their jovial and fun-loving personalities were only trumped by their very obvious love and ever-present infatuation for each other. San Fran is going to be hard pressed to have a day this wonderful any time soon.

If there are two things I LOVE, they would have to be the outdoors and keeping it simple. Eric and Michelle’s rustic wedding encompassed both of these brilliantly. Spending the day with this charming couple was too fun.
We at Scinema believe that there shouldn’t be a formula for wedding photography. You deserve a collection of photos that are as unique and spectacular as you are. The photos from Eric and Michelle’s marriage exemplify how we can get outside the norm and be creative, but still show off your big day in a timeless way.

Cari and Jason met at a concert. Cari was in the crowed enjoying the songs, and Jason was on stage singing them. The connection between the two was immediate then, and it’s still very obvious now. Their wedding at Nuckols Ranch in central California was gorgeous, and it was a pleasure to be a part of such a great day.
A couple weeks ago we posted some of their wedding photos, and now we have their highlight film for you to check out. We like to think of ourselves as a one-stop -shop for wedding media coverage. We think it’s silly to have to call two companies to get film and photo, so we offer both.

This dramatic engagement shoot was done for our longtime friends Josh and Faith Sarr. They are quite the eclectic couple in their day-to-day lives, so when it came to this shoot we knew we had to capture their uniqueness in the photos as well. To do this we visited the local carnival, tramped through budding cherry blossoms, and broke a mirror on the side of the road (on accident). By the end of the night we were able to get some stellar photos of this stunning couple and had a blast doing it.

What could be better than having a day totally devoted to celebrating the marriage of a couple in love? How about three days of celebration… in Cancun, Mexico? Amit and Madhu’s three day traditional Indian wedding was a glamorous spectacle full of dancing, traditional garb, and breath-taking ocean views. The wedding alone was something out of a dream, but the knowledge that they deviated from the norm to marry for love made this event truly special.

Someone figure out where to find the creator of the photobooth, so I can give him a well deserved high-five. Scinema LOVES photobooths, and they love us in return (as made obvious by the gorgeous pictures above). Weddings are always a blast, but when holy matrimony is paired with one of these rapid fire photo machines the party is, as Emeril would say, kicked up a notch. The inclusion of photobooths is quickly becoming a staple of the modern wedding reception, and I for one couldn’t be happier.
